Keeping in touchJobcentre Plus chooses to work more closely with certain customer-facing organisations because we have two things in common. Firstly, we all have a remit to support people who are often at vulnerable point in their lives. They depend on each of us to provide accurate, comprehensive and timely information about their entitlements opportunities. Secondly, our customers access information from a variety of sources. We share a commitment to providing a quality and trusted support service. Jobcentre Plus is committed to working closely with its stakeholders to fulfil this obligation and an important part of this commitment is to share information in a timely and regular manner. Our monthly electronic newsletter in touch aims to keep our stakeholders up to date with the latest news, progress of our modernisation programme, forthcoming changes to benefit rules, updates on performance, as well as news on important policy issues which affect our shared customers. The newsletter complements Touchbase, the quarterly publication from DWP, by providing a monthly focus on Jobcentre Plus related issues.
