Jobcentre Plus is hosting an Autumn Jobsfair at Edinburgh City Jobcentre, 11-13 South St Andrew Street, Edinburgh on Tuesday 16 October from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm.

For anyone looking for a new job, the Autumn Jobsfair provides a great opportunity to meet employers and find out about the more than 300 jobs available.

Companies recruiting include BHS; Asda; Next; Argos; Jenners; Quality Link; Toys R Us; TK Maxx; Massarella Catering; and Advantage Healthcare.

A range of full-time, part-time, temporary and permanent positions is available in the Edinburgh area. Jobs will be in retail; catering; hospitality; healthcare; and customer service.  Interviews will be held on the day with a view to many positions starting immediately.

Staff from Jobcentre Plus will also be there to offer back to work support, including showing people how much financially better off they could be in work and providing information on Work Trials.

Marion Stanley, customer services manager at Edinburgh City Jobcentre, said: “With over 300 vacancies in and around the city, our Autumn Jobsfair provides a great opportunity for anyone who is looking for a job or a change of career to speak directly to employers.  The wide range of flexible, family-friendly vacancies offer people the chance to find a job that fits around particular needs such as childcare responsibilities.”
