Jobcentre Plus and Hartlepool Borough Council have teamed up with some of the town’s biggest employers to host a jobsfair at Middleton Grange Shopping Centre on Thursday 28 February between 9.30am and 4.30pm.

Jobseekers will have the opportunity to apply for a wide range of full and part-time jobs with employers such as Asda, Ranstad, Carewatch, Respondez, Community Care, Primetime and Garlands.

Ian Johnstone, labour market recruitment adviser at Jobcentre Plus said: “People may be unemployed, facing redundancy, or just fancy a career change - the jobsfair is an open invitation to local people to come along and find out what’s on offer in the area. They can meet employers face to face and can even apply for jobs and training on the spot.”

Jobcentre Plus advisers will be on hand to talk to people about the range of support they can provide to help people back into work. Local information providers will also be attending the event with more information on the work they do to get people into the job they want, including 5 Lamps, Children’s Information Service and Hartlepool Working Solutions, who are all specialists in helping people get into the jobs market.

For more information about the jobsfair contact your local Jobcentre Plus office. For people who can’t make it to the event further details about the jobs on offer are available in Jobcentre Plus offices, by calling Jobcentre Plus on 0845 60 60 234 or on the job search page on this website.
