Jobcentre Plus

Jobseekers in Kidderminster are being invited to “go wild” for jobs when the Jobcentre Plus jobsbus rolls into Kidderminster town centre in the New Year. Representatives from Jobcentre Plus and West Midlands Safari Park will be on hand to recruit people for the new season, which starts on 9th February.

There are 250 vacancies on offer at the Safari Park including commercial assistants, guest services assistants, amusement ride operators, games assistants and mini bus drivers. Interested jobseekers can attend a number of open days on the Jobcentre Plus jobsbus.

The bus will be in Kidderminster town centre on Saturday 5th January between 10.00am and 1.00pm and Wednesday 9th January between 10.00am and 1.00pm.  The jobsbus will also be visiting the Safari Park on 12th January between 10.00am and 1.00pm.

Lisa Matthews, human resource manager for West Midlands Safari Park, said: “We are very pleased to be working with Jobcentre Plus and hope to attract a lot of people to the open days. We have a wide variety of positions for people of all ages and backgrounds, which offer flexible working hours. We are keen to employ enthusiastic people who have initiative and an outgoing attitude.”

Wendy Wiggett from Jobcentre Plus commented: “This is a great opportunity to find out what it would be like to work at the Safari Park and staff will be on hand to talk about the jobs on offer.  I would urge any one who is interested to come along to the open days or to contact their local Jobcentre Plus.”
