Jobcentre Plus Equality Schemes
2008
The Department published its race, disability and gender equality schemes for 2008-2011 on 29 May 2008 – including one for Jobcentre Plus.
The schemes set out how we will take forward our legal duties and how we will work towards equality for all our customers and staff. They build on the work set out in the Department’s previous schemes and action plans.
Details of the schemes can be found on the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) website.
The DWP website also provides information on how to order other versions and formats of the equality scheme publications.
2007
In November 2007, DWP published its first annual progress reports on disability and gender, the 2007 annual progress report on race, and an update on other aspects of diversity.
The Jobcentre Plus action plan on disability, gender and race equality can be found on the DWP website.
2006
The Jobcentre Plus Disability and Gender Equality Schemes and Race Equality Scheme Progress Report was published in December 2006 and is also available in the following formats:

Following the publication of our Gender Equality Scheme on 1 December 2006, the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) commented on the document. We have responded to these comments in an addendum, which can be accessed at the following link.
