Jobcentre Plus is working in partnership with C M Community Care Services in Wolverhampton to recruit 30 mobile care workers in the Penn and Bilston area. Jobseekers are invited to drop in to Chapel Court Jobcentre, Wolverhampton on Monday 1st November 2004 between 10.00am and 3.00pm to find out more information about the vacancies on offer. Hilary Clews, vacancy services manager at Chapel Court Jobcentre, Wolverhampton, said: “This is an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to move into the care industry, such as working parents or people with care responsibilities. No experience is required, as suitable applicants will be given training up to NVQ Level 2. Applicants will be able to work flexible hours including various shifts ranging from a minimum of 20 hours per week to full time. “Jobcentre Plus is working hard to recruit suitable people to fill these jobs and make sure the recruitment is successful. C M Community Care Services staff will be present at the open day to discuss the vacancies, issue application forms and conduct interviews. Specialist advisers from Jobcentre Plus will also be available to give information on the range of help that may be available when people start work.” Vacancies are available for solo workers, for which own transport is essential, or for working in pairs, where own transport is only required by one applicant.
