Representatives from Jobcentre Plus will join in the celebrations at the official opening this weekend of an innovative new soft play area for children. Chilly Kiddy’s, creating 15 new jobs in Stourbridge, worked in partnership with Jobcentre Plus to recruit the staff required for the revolutionary 8,000 sq ft play concept, the first of its kind in the Stourbridge area. Councillor Sarah Pearce will call into the Mill Race Lane premises of Chilly Kiddy’s to congratulate the company owners, Amanda Holford and Joanne Brennan, on their new business venture. Alison Fleming and Paul Smeeton from Stourbridge Jobcentre Plus will also greet Councillor Pearce to discuss how they undertook the recruitment programme. Amanda Holford, Chilly Kiddy’s company director, said: “Stourbridge Jobcentre has been instrumental in ensuring Chilly Kiddy’s found the right people for our jobs. This successful recruitment partnership will continue beyond the opening of our first branch.” Chilly Kiddy’s offers a unique play experience for children up to the age of 12 years old, in a safe and secure environment. It will also provide children’s parties and private hire opportunities, while parents can relax, have coffee and hot & cold snacks whilst watching their children having fun.
