Jobcentre Plus is hosting a jobsfair on Valentines Day for NEXT Clearance, which is moving into Astle Park in the High Street, West Bromwich, creating 50 new jobs.

People are invited to call into the High Street premises of West Bromwich Jobcentre, next door to the Registry Office, between 9.30am to 4.00pm on February 14th 2004.

Sue Anderson, business development manager for West Bromwich Jobcentre said,

“Jobcentre Plus is thrilled to be working in partnership with NEXT Clearance to assist them in recruiting over 50 new staff for their brand new outlet. There are various vacancies up for grabs including department managers, sales consultants, supervisors and security. The store is open 7 days a week, so there are also opportunities for weekend staff too.”

She added,

“Anyone who is interested in the vacancies is welcome to drop into the Jobcentre. No appointment is necessary. Specialist Jobcentre Plus advisers will be on hand to discuss the range of help and assistance available when starting work, such as help towards the costs of childcare and advice on in work benefits. Representatives from NEXT Clearance will also be there to discuss the opportunities available and issue application forms, as well as advise applicants on their suitability for the positions.”
