Stafford Jobcentre is organising two special events to recruit 80 staff for the town’s new TKMaxx store. On Friday 21st January a Jobsbus will be parked at the Market Square in the town centre between 9.30am and 4.00pm. Then on Saturday 22nd January the Jobcentre will be holding a recruitment day with personal advisers on hand. Staff from the store will also be available on both days to issue application forms and interview potential applicants. The new TKMaxx store is due to open in mid-February on the Friary Retail Park. 80 workers are needed to fill a wide range of full and part time positions, many of them designed to suit people with childcare or other caring commitments. Debbie Tipton, the new TKMaxx store manager, said: “We are really pleased to be working with Stafford Jobcentre. They have designed a complete recruitment package to meet our specific needs.” Jacqui Bailey, Stafford Jobcentre business manager, said: “TKMaxx are keen to offer a wide range of permanent and temporary employment to our customers. They are working with us to ensure that all local people have a great chance to gain a job with them.” For more information visit the Jobsbus in the Market Square on 21st January or call into the Stafford Jobcentre open day on Saturday 22nd January.
