Forty new temporary jobs are to be promoted by Houston Warehousing at a recruitment evening in partnership with Renfrew Jobcentre Plus. The event will take place from 4pm – 7pm on Tuesday 12 July 2005 at Houston Warehousing, 95 Wright Street, Renfrew.

The night-shift positions, for which full training will be given, are on a four nights per week basis from 8.30pm – 6.30am totalling 40 hours per week. The jobs, which include opportunities in packaging and labelling, are available from the end of July until November 2005.

Yvonne Ross, business manager at Renfrew Jobcentre Plus, said: “Jobcentre Plus is very pleased to be helping fill these 40 jobs. The open evening could act as a stepping-stone for anyone considering a return to work. A team from Renfrew Jobcentre Plus will be there to help people find out how much better off they could be in work.”

Bill Dickie, Operations Director from Houston Warehousing, said: “We are hopeful that these new positions will provide a boost for the local community during the summer months. Anyone who is interested is encouraged to come along on Tuesday evening and find out more about working for the company and the jobs that are available.”
