Wolverhampton Chapel Court Jobcentre announced today that for the seventh year running they have joined forces with Flair Events Staffing to recruit approximately 350 staff for this year's V festival at Weston Park, on the outskirts of Wolverhampton.

The festival will take place from Friday 19th August to Sunday 21st August. People who are interested in working at the event will be required to attend interviews at Chapel Court Jobcentre on either the 26th or 27th of July.

Applicants must be aged over 18 for the token sellers posts and bar staff and aged 17 or over for catering vacancies. They must also be able to provide their own transport to the event. Wages range from £4.85 per hour, and free meals and T-shirts will be provided.

Hilary Clews, vacancy service manager at Chapel Court Jobcentre, said:

"This is a great opportunity for people with good customer service skills to work together, hear some great acts such as Oasis, Joss Stone and Scissor Sisters, whilst earning some money."

Many people return year after year to work at the V festivals and other events around the country. Flair Events Staffing is always keen to employ local people for their events.
