Stourbridge Jobcentre Plus is offering more than 25 full and part time vacancies for staff at The Bell, a new contemporary pub and restaurant opening in Market Street.

Local people interested in a career in the hospitality trade and wishing to apply for vacancies for the newly refurbished public house and restaurant are invited to telephone Stourbridge Jobcentre Plus on 01384 554715. Interviews will be held at Stourbridge Jobcentre Plus at Lower High Street on the 12th August between 10am and 4pm.

Alison Fleming, business development manager at Stourbridge Jobcentre, said:

“There are various permanent vacancies on offer for a chef/cook, kitchen assistants, a restaurant supervisor, bar supervisor, waiting and bar staff and cleaners. Full training is provided for suitable applicants, however people applying for the cook and supervisor vacancies will need some previous experience and those applying to be chefs should be appropriately qualified. The Bell offers competitive rates of pay, staff uniforms, flexible hours and a delightful working environment.”

Kim Hamilton, owner of The Bell, said:

“The Bell aims to offer a variety of experiences, bringing the style and service standards expected from city centre operations. We are working closely with Alison and her team at Stourbridge Jobcentre to ensure that we employ local people who will help us make our business prosper and have the same vision of excellence as we do.

“We are looking for dynamic individuals who will be the public face of our concept, offering the highest quality service in stylish surroundings.”
