Travelodge and Carter and Carter pledge their commitment to Local Employment Partnerships

Grant Hearn, Chief Executive of Travelodge and Helen Richardson, Managing Director from the vocational learning provider Carter and Carter recently signed up to Local Employment Partnerships with Minister for Employment and Welfare Reform Caroline Flint, at a breakfast event on 9 October at the Radisson Kenilworth Hotel, London.

Grant Hearn said: “We are very excited that Travelodge should be involved with Local Employment Partnerships.  We will definitely be actively engaging with Jobcentre Plus on this agenda to fill as many of our vacancies as possible through this route.  We want local people in local jobs.  It helps us become weaved into the fabric of the local community, which for any brand, I think is very important.  We are delighted to be a part of this scheme.”

Helen Richardson said: “We are also very, very proud to be part of this initiative.  Particularly proud to be able to be both a provider of services and also an employer of Jobcentre Plus clients.”
