Type of event: The Employment Expo – a community event incorporating a jobsfair, open to all residents in the Caerphilly and surrounding areas, but especially those receiving benefits in the St James, St Caddwg’s, Pengam, Hengoed, Aber Valley and Cefn Forest areas, from which there will be free transport. As well as the Jobsfair there will be one surgeries relating to CV and application form completion, debt and benefit advice and much more. A créche will be available for people with children aged 10 months to 8 years, who are taking part in any of the one – one surgeries. A celebrity guest Max Boyce will be at the expo between 12 and 2.00 pm and there is a free prize draw to win a laptop.
