National Traineeships

National Traineeships are designed very much along the lines of Modern Apprenticeships except that the focus of the training is at NVQ level 2. They too are mainly for 16 and 17 old young people but are also open to other people aged 18 and over, if they can complete the training before the age of 25. National Traineeships also provide the opportunity for young people to progress onto Modern Apprenticeships.

Note: National Traineeships are not available in Scotland.
