Provider Statistics

We are currently experiencing IT problems that means that we cannot update these statistics at present. We will let you know as soon as we are able to do so. The current tables show the data from April 2007 to June 2007.

The following New Deal for Young People tables show provider job outcome rates for the following Options:

  • Full Time Education and Training (FTET);
  • Environment Task Force (ETF);
  • Voluntary Sector (VS).

Please click on the appropriate Region or Country:
The tables show job outcome data held by Jobcentre Plus' Provider Level management Information (PLMI) on organisations delivering work experience, skills and training through the New Deal for Young People Options. The data has not been interpreted or otherwise manipulated in any way, and no differentiation has been made between providers:

  1. of different sizes;
  2. serving easier/harder to help client groups;
  3. working in more/less deprived areas;
  4. working in rural/urban areas.

This report is a snapshot of performance during the most recent quarter.  Previous reports of NDYP performance published on these pages have reported the numbers of clients leaving provision in the period, and measured performance by comparing them with those that had been reported as starting work during the same period.  As the MI system allocates job outcomes to the period in which they are achieved some outcomes were not included in these reports.  In order to correct this and provide a more complete picture of performance, this and future reports will report leavers as before but the count of job outcomes will be those claimed during the report period regardless of start date.

The Providers are simply listed in alphabetical order. It is entirely possible that Providers with lower job outcome rates could be meeting set targets and providing good quality provision. In this context it should be noted that the PLMI system counts a leaver each time that they leave provision. This has the effect of lowering the job entry rate from that which is normally used as the measure of provider performance. The current tables show the data from April 2007 to June 2007.
