East MidlandsConsultation launch - European Social Fund 2007-2013 Draft Regional FrameworkGovernment Office for the East Midlands has today launched a 12 week consultation on the draft Regional ESF Framework. The consultation period runs from 4 May to 5pm, 27 July 2007. The Framework sets out how ESF money will be used regionally to address the objectives and targets in the national Operational Programme document. The Regional ESF Framework is closely linked to the Regional Economic Strategy and Regional Skills Strategy so that ESF contributes directly to regional skills and employment priorities. The draft Regional Framework and Consultation Document can be found by following the link below: http://www.goem.gov.uk/goem/euro/struct-funds/ESF07-13/devesf0713/ The consultation seeks views on 10 key areas within the Framework document. It is important that we obtain the views and comments of a wide range of stakeholders so please pass details of this consultation to anyone you feel may be interested in contributing as soon as possible. The Consultation Document contains full details of how to respond. Responses are required by email on the template provided and should be sent to: goem_esf_consultation@goem.gsi.gov.uk Hard copies are required only where it is not possible to respond by email.
