West Midlands Safari Park has joined forces with Jobcentre Plus to recruit the 130 full and part time staff needed for the park’s opening on 12th February 2005. A further 120 vacancies will be available later in the season. The Jobcentre Plus Jobsbus will be calling in to the Bull Ring in Kidderminster Town Centre on Saturday 8th January from 10.00am to 2.00pm and Wednesday 12th January from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Michelle Link, human resource officer for West Midlands Safari Park, said: We are looking forward to the new season and are thrilled to be working with Jobcentre Plus to promote our vacancies. We have a wide variety of positions available including admissions staff, guest services, catering assistants, retail and ride attraction staff. We are keen to employ mature applicants and people who delight in giving excellent customer service.” Kim Evans, manager of Kidderminster Jobcentre, said: “Anyone interested in applying for the vacancies at West Midlands Safari Park is invited to join us aboard the Jobcentre Plus Jobs bus or call into Kidderminster Jobcentre in Lower Mill Street for further details.” Representatives from West Midlands Safari Park will be aboard the Jobcentre Plus Jobsbus giving information about the posts available, issuing application forms and discussing the vacancies in more detail. Specialist advisers are available at Kidderminster Jobcentre to give people advice on what help may be available when starting work, such as financial assistance towards the costs of childcare and information on in work benefits.
