Jobseekers in Walsall will have the opportunity to apply for a wide range of seasonal jobs on offer at the department store Debenhams this Christmas. A recruitment open day is taking place at Bridle Court Jobcentre in Walsall on Tuesday 19^th October.

Rose Owen, recruitment manager for Walsall Jobcentre, said:

“This is a fantastic opportunity for people to work at the Debenhams store during the festive season. The store is very busy and is looking for flexible employees who appreciate a challenge. The hours vary and the shifts will include some evening and weekend work.”

She added,

“Debenhams is an esteemed Walsall employer and offer excellent rates of pay, benefits and generous store discounts. Whilst the positions are on a temporary basis to cover the busy Christmas period there is the possibility of permanent work for the right applicant.”

No appointment is required on the day and interested applicants can simply drop into Bridle Court Jobcentre, Hatherton Road on Tuesday 19^th October for an informal chat with Debenhams between the hours of 10am and 3.30pm.
