As part of the work of the Wales Redundancy Support Team, Jobcentre Plus is working with its partners, including the Welsh Assembly Government, to provide support and help for businesses that guide them through these challenging times and wherever possible, avoid the need for making redundancies.

Where redundancies are unavoidable, Jobcentre Plus will work with employers and look to provide help before employees leave employment. Employers in the position of having to make redundancies, considering Short-Time Working or where a redundancy situation looks likely, please contact:

• Links with the Welsh Assembly Government : their ReAct  programme (training for redundant workers)  and ProAct programme (aimed at supporting employers who are considering short term working or redundancies.) see link below
