North East

Welcome to the North East Local Employment Partnerships Awards 2009. We are very proud to have hosted these awards on 26 February 2009 at the Newcastle United Football Club, St James Park.

The ceremony showcased how employers across the North East have worked with us through Local Employment Partnerships to help thousands of local people back into work. There has been innovation and real commitment to developing people's skills and reaching out to parts of the community that have previously been overlooked.

The winners were announced at the ceremony and have been entered for consideration into the National LEP Awards which will be held on 9 June 2009.
