Recruiting more than 12 people a yearIf you are planning to recruit a dozen or more people over the next year, then you will need to discuss your requirements with Jobcentre Plus. We will work with you to decide the best way of supporting your business and making your claims, which may include account management and access to our bulk billing process. Whether you make a claim as you recruit each eligible employee, or whether you send in a bulk claim for several employees on a monthly or quarterly basis is up to you. Your claims will be validated and we will pay £1000 into your bank account for each eligible employee. We will also provide a remittance advice to help you to track who you have received payment for.* Payment will be made into your account within 15 working days of remittance. Claims may be made for all eligible employees that have started work, from the date that you provide a verbal agreement to our Terms and Conditions, subject to formal signing. You don't have to place your vacancies with Jobcentre Plus to make your claim but you may find the offer of our other services too good to ignore. Thousands of employers work with Jobcentre Plus to take advantage of our free vacancy advertising service and many of them take this relationship even further, through Local Employment Partnerships. Extra help for in work training As well as the £1000, there may be even more help available to get the most from your new employees with free in-work training.
*Payment will only be made for eligible candidates moving into work that is expected to last for a minimum of 26 weeks and average a minimum of 16 hours per week. |
