If you are only planning to recruit a few people over the next year, then you could claim each time you recruit each eligible employee.
All you will need to do is:
Remember to ask your new employees if they have been claiming Jobseeker's Allowance for 6 months or more and check to see if they have a Recruitment Voucher, to help you determine which employees you can claim for
Ask your new employee to complete Part 1b of their voucher. Read and sign the Terms and Conditions on the Recruitment Voucher. Complete your name, address and payment details and send it back by a secure postal route to the address shown
On receipt, Jobcentre Plus will validate your claim and providing that the employee is eligible, we will pay £500 into your bank account within 15 working days.
26 weeks after your new employee starts work, Jobcentre Plus will perform a second check against our records to make sure that the employee is still in work. If they are still not claiming a Jobcentre Plus benefit, then you will be paid the remaining £500.*
