Local Employment Partnerships

Jobcentre Plus has launched an initiative called ‘Local Employment Partnerships’. These partnerships are based on agreements between Jobcentre Plus and some of the major employers in your area. These partnerships have been developed to help Jobcentre Plus customers move into paid work.

To help us to assess and improve the effectiveness of these partnerships, it is important, that we know whether our customers benefit from this initiative and where they find work.

To help us to do this Jobcentre Plus will contact those employers involved in this initiative to confirm where and when our customers started work.  The Data Protection Statement on Local Employment Partnership vacancies enables Jobcentre Plus to do this and ensures Jobcentre Plus and Employers comply with the Data Protection Act. 

Information will not be passed to any other organisation or government department and you have the right not to consent at any time by writing to your local Jobcentre Plus office.  This does not affect your right to apply for Local Employment Partnership vacancies.
