Targets 2006/7

Jobcentre Plus’s main targets are agreed with the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions and are published in an annual Business Plan.

These targets are designed to improve Jobcentre Plus’ overall productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.

Currently, we have targets for:

• Helping people into work – the Job Outcome target 
• Cutting fraud and error – the Monetary Value of Fraud and Error target    
• Helping employers to recruit – the Employer Outcome target      
• Helping all our customers – the Customer Service target       
• Doing the right thing at the right time – the Business Delivery target     
• Timely processing of benefit claims – the Average Actual Clearance Time (AACT) target
